I for one am disappointed.

In a field lately dominated by ersatz Cassavetes wanna be’s Gallo made 2 of the greatest films of the last 15 years that authentically evoked the spirit of D.I.Y 70’s cinema that every other hack with a camera and an NYU film school cred could only wish to make but suffer upon us anyway.
Buffalo 66 specifically is what we really mean when we throw around the terms ‘personal’ and ‘iconoclastic’ like so much copy.
And never mind the blowjobs; The Brown Bunny was a pretty powerful study in male fear and self-loathing.
That’s all I’m sayin’.
