The first tune has the dirge. The 2nd the guitar freak out and the 3rd brings in the pop.
Like Yuck it’s nothing I haven’t heard before and these guys are not breaking any new ground here.
But unlike Girls they bring you over on their unwavering belief and commitment to a sound. Albeit one that’s been around since the 80’s.
And that’s not a bad way to kill 30 + minutes.
Will these bands be my life?
Hell no.
Will I guiltlessly rock out listening to them on the drive to work?
Fuck yeah.
Will they provide a positive answer to the titular question I leave for the dear reader to decide…
