Death Is The End
February 18, 2013
Don’t let Dylan fool you there is nothing after the big sleep.
And it’s no sleep.
It’s just an end.
You wake up from a sleep.
This is a cessation.
A stop.
My dad didn’t pass away.
He didn’t go to a better place.
There are no harps and angels and transmutations and transfigurations and souls rising or falling.
The laws of conservation of energy don’t explain it or make it better.
Someone was here and now
Someone is gone.
Forever.
You can talk to them but you’re really talking to yourself.
You can imagine them watching over your life but it’s just you watching you.
You can search for them but you’re just looking for yourself.
You’re here and they
Are not
Not
Here
Dead
End
No
