Mud And Blood

Trail running is the ultimate high.
This was a half marathon at the awesome US Whitewater Center in my adopted home state of North Carolina.
For a sarcastic non-believing existential realist material atheist like me this is church.
Or what I think church is supposed to be ….

For the record my time was 1 hr. and 51 min and those are New Balance Minimums Trail MT10 I ran in.
And yeah I took a face plant not once but twice.
I drove home with a runner’s high and Jawbreaker’s Bivouac blasting in my car.
Good times.
