Sky Fall

I was up late one night and St. Elmo’s Fire with a screenplay by Brett Easton Ellis came on and everyone was strung out on heroin and Rob Lowe’s character was the film’s artistic conscience as he let his soul flow into his Pro Tools on his Mac Book Pro and the Judd Nelson “yuppie scum” stand in character kept telling him that music made on laptops had no soul and to trade in his Mac for a saxophone.
At least that’s the way I remember the movie but that night was a long time ago and I’m getting older and my memory isn’t what it used to be…
