Life is a Non sequitur

There’s a moment when traffic is merging and you have your kids in the car in the right most lane and sometimes for a second the merging car almost gets too close.
There’s also a moment when you’re out with your wife and kids and an unexpected joke explodes on you and your family like a July sun shower.
During either of those times does it matter if you’re liberal or conservative or an atheist or believer?
